Sparkling Ponds Winery

Now under new ownership, Sparkling Ponds continues to produce award-winning wines in a convivial atmosphere.

Situated on a quiet country property that boasts 22 acres of wine grapes and several ponds, Sparkling Ponds Winery produces delicious wines in a friendly and unique setting. The winery was founded in 2005, and five years later the current owner purchased the business.

To many, Sparkling Ponds is synonymous with “Woman Pleaser.” Yes, women do like visiting, but what it refers to is Sparkling Ponds’ best seller, which smells just like sweet, luscious Niagara grapes do right on the vine. But this wine is light, and a touch of cranberry cuts the sweetness and causes it to finish tart but dry. Other big sellers include Fatal Attraction, Walleye Wobbler, and Pig Roast Pickler, a slightly-oaked Marechal Foch with a whisper of blackberry.

The staff at Sparkling Ponds knows their wines well, but what they’re truly gifted at is explaining to visitors what wines go best with which foods. Some of the staff love to lead tasters through a routine that mixes in various foods such as cheese and chocolate while they taste, providing them with a unique experience that allows them to learn the nuances of wine and food pairing.

At Sparkling Ponds Winery, you can take your time, peruse the gift shop or stroll around the grounds and enjoy the rustic scenery and many ponds.
