There is no bad time to go wine tasting, but if you are looking for a less-busy time to go, weekdays might be your best bet for a more personalized experience.

Once you have an idea of how many people will be going, contact transportation companies for rates. The sooner you call the more likely you are to find the vehicle you prefer at a good price.

Map Your Route

For groups of 8 or more, please make reservations in advance. Plan an hour or so between each stop to allow time to taste, shop, take pics. (Don't forget to tag the wineries social media pages in your post!)

Think Food

Many of the wineries offer snack items or have a full menu available. There are also many restaurants along the trail! Be sure to check their hours and make a reservation if you have a large party.

Think Overnight

Make your reservations at a hotel, motel, vacation rental or bed and breakfast along the trail so you can stop for the night to rest up and refresh for another day of winery touring!


And, don't forget to stay hydrated!
